The Texas Eye-Movement Research Laboratory (or TERL) comprises many state-of-the-art facilities for research in human and robotic eye movements. We currently have two SRI/Fourward DPI eye trackers (in a binocular configuration) including twin stimulus deflectors/image stabilizers, two independent ASL remote heads-free video eye trackers, and one ASL/Virtual Research integrated helmet-mounted virtual reality display and video eye tracker. We also have a cutting-edge active, foveated, binocular, robotic vision system for studying artificial vision systems incorporating human-like foveation and eye (camera) movement behavior. In addition, TERL has ample hardware and software facilities for data acquisition, sophisticated real-time data analysis and display, and off-line data and image analysis.
